I am writing once again to express my interest in joining your team as a Ph.D. student.

My name is Mehran Dizbadi, and I am writing to express my strong interest in applying for a Ph.D. position in your team. Since February 2022, I have been living in Germany, residing in various cities in Bavaria, including Würzburg and Rosenheim.

I hold a Master’s degree in Geomatics Engineering – Remote Sensing from Iran, obtained in 2018, and have over 10 years of experience in the field of surveying engineering.

I have worked in various surveying companies and on projects related to road construction, tower construction, and urban and rural development in my home country since 2011, alongside my university studies. Additionally, I have four years of part-time teaching experience at universities, where I taught courses in Remote Sensing, Geodesy, Cartography, and Surveying.

My Master’s thesis focussed on the *Automatic Feature Extraction of Urban and Rural Features Using High-Resolution Satellites*, such as WorldView-2 (score: 19.5/20). Furthermore, I obtained a GRE score of 325 in 2021 (Quantitative: 169/170, Verbal: 156/170, Writing: 3.5/6) and a TOEFL test score of 99. I am also learning German at the B1-B2 level (THWS-Busuu-Goethe).

In February 2022, I moved to Germany and started working as a research assistant in the *Surveying Engineering Department at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt*. My research has focussed on remote sensing, mobile mapping, and laser scanning from *February 15, 2022, to February 14, 2025*.

Ich schreibe Ihnen, um erneut mein Interesse an einer Promotion in Ihrem Team zu bekunden. Mein Name ist Mehran Dizbadi, und ich möchte mein großes Interesse an einer Promotionsstelle in Ihrem Team zum Ausdruck bringen. Seit Februar 2022 lebe ich in Deutschland und habe in verschiedenen Städten Bayerns, darunter Würzburg und Rosenheim, gewohnt.

Ich habe 2018 einen Master-Abschluss in Geomatik-Ingenieurwesen – Fernerkundung** im Iran erworben und verfüge über mehr als 10 Jahre Erfahrung** im Bereich des Vermessungswesens.
Seit 2011 habe ich während meines Studiums in verschiedenen Vermessungsunternehmen gearbeitet und an Projekten zu Straßenbau, Turmbau sowie Stadt- und Landentwicklung mitgewirkt. Zusätzlich habe ich vier Jahre lang als Teilzeit-Dozent an Universitäten gearbeitet und Lehrveranstaltungen zu Fernerkundung, Geodäsie, Kartografie und Vermessung** gehalten.
Meine **Masterarbeit** befasste sich mit der **automatischen Merkmalsextraktion städtischer und ländlicher Gebiete unter Verwendung hochauflösender Satellitenbilder**, insbesondere von WorldView-2 (Bewertung: 19,5/20). Sollte in Zukunft eine Finanzierung möglich sein, wäre ich bereit, meinen Arbeitsvertrag in eine Teilzeitstelle umzuwandeln. Ich bin flexibel und offen für mögliche Vereinbarungen.
